Ben hails from Nyamirambo, Kigali, and first began working in lighting on the feature film for Dallaire Productions, Shake Hands with the Devil, as Best Boy on second unit.
He is the lighting designer and technical director on The Monument, and most recently was part of the lighting crew of the Pan African Festival of Dance at Kigali's Amahoro Stadium, as well as Gaffer on Daddy Youseef Ruhorahoza's short film Lost Ones of the Southern Hemisphere.
Prior to this Ben was a student at the Kigali Insititute of Science and Technology, specializing in Information Technology. Ben is also working on several screenplays and short stories.
