Aice Kayibanda

Communications Director

Alice was born in Rwanda, and is the former President of Urungano Youth and Media , an organization which uses media to sensitize youth on issues of peace building and human rights, as well as to encourage employment and combat poverty. She earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from the Université Libre de Kigali, and worked as the editor of a youth magazine, as well as being the Assistant to the Director of the Rwanda Film Festival and the Carte Blanche Coordinator, a children's program of the Rwanda Film Festival.

Alice has also worked as the film officer of the Amani Great Lakes Film Festival, as well as in film production on Shake Hands with the Devil (Dallaire Productions), among others. She is currently working for Rwandans Allied For Peace and Progress as the Scenarios from Africa Project Coordinator, and as Publicist for the The Monument.
